Blurry Future was purposely created for the Egoista - Fate Issue. These photographs were taken on a rainy evening in Lithuania, Kaunas. The meaning behind the photographs was that we don't really know what our life will bring. We can only decide which way we want to go but our fate is not predictable by us.
Format Festival has set a challenge this year to remake your photos and create something interesting with given themes. The challenge was to Turn It - Rotate part(s) of a photograph to give a sense of movement or displacement. These were my submitted photos:
Barcelona in November
Finally, I managed to edit all the photographs I took during my mini break in Spain. When I was thinking to visit Barcelona my first thoughts were it will be amazing in November it won't be that busy.. (I was wrong). The weather was great (+18), it was a bit weird because in UK it was about +8 at that time, so the difference certainly felt. I didn't had enough time to visit all the places I wanted but I think next time I'll be there I will have the opportunity to visit them.
It has been an exciting September! That's right, I got published! (As you can see from the title).
These photographs were taken in an abandoned Jewish hospital in Lithuania, that was closed in 1995. Walking around the building and exploring the rooms and corridors was something exciting as you realise that this hospital once was full of sounds and uproar. Now, only plain walls, silence and the cold atmosphere were left behind. Some of the stairs and walls were destroyed by the time, some of them were covered with graffiti, we knew that we were not the only ones who have entered and explored these rooms.
Egoista is not an ordinary commercial magazine, I think that the people working behind it have a huge talent in creating something extraordinary with every issue. The magazine itself was introduced as an art piece at the best European design show in Louvre Museum in France. It is an honour to be the first Lithuanian to be published side by side with Angelina Jolie, António Guterres, Fernando Vicente and other great artists in Egoista.

The Photography Show 2018
This is the 3rd year that I am visiting The Photography Show and I think every year has better live stages were photographers from all over the world come to talk about their photographs and journey through their careers paths. On this photography show I have met Laura Zalenga, her photography inspired many of us that are interested in self-portraiture with a mix with manipulation in landscapes. It was great to listen to Helen Sloan and her great stories how she photographs the Games of Thrones backstage and the cast! Here are some photos from the event! Enjoy!
